Thank you, Bishop, for all your Spiritual Works of Mercy!

This morning’s televised mass was week three, thirsting for the Eucharist… Instead, we are learning to be grateful for the Spiritual Eucharist that is currently offered in place of all of us receiving the Real Presence of Christ’s body, soul, and divinity as a Memorial Sacrifice given in the love liturgy, pre-COVID-19 celebrated throughout our parish churches.

How marvelous it is that our Shepherd, The Most Reverend David J. Walkowiak, Bishop of the Diocese of Grand Rapids, MI, U.S.A and one of the Godly Counsel’s of UPRISE, present at the global kickoff event in October 2018 was the T.V. mass celebrant again today!

Bishop Walkowiak’s leadership presence and remarks during the Homily each week continue to bring great comfort during these difficult days of being socially isolated from one another, everyone working together to protect the common good from this most mysterious and deadly virus. We are not afraid. We cling together to Jesus, who is love and generosity, grounded in perfect love to His Father – to protect us, shield us, comfort us, care for us, heal us, offer us mercy.

Thank you Bishop for ALL you do for all of us in our 80 parishes of our 11 county Diocese – may God continue to protect you so you may continue to lead us lovingly in the future!
